States across the U.S. are considering proposals to ease restrictions on alcohol sales in hopes of boosting tax revenues in a challenging fiscal environment. (Source: Join Together, 2/24/09) Comment: Like this the alcohol industry could be the winner after the rise of alcohol taxes. The state and the public could loose by additional social costs. It should be avoided.
