Marin Institute Model Statute Now Available. The bill that follows through on New Mexico state Attorney General Gary King’s proposal to ban alcoholic energy drinks has been introduced in the state’s legislature.
House Bill 36 was introduced by Representative Ray Begaye (D) and would “prohibit the manufacturer, distribution, and sale of flavored malt energy beverages containing stimulants.” The bill also bans importation of such products.
