Commenting on the Chancellor Alistair Darling’s taxation increase on alcohol by 2%, Dr Richard Lewis, Welsh Secretary of the BMA says; „We’re pleased to see this rise in the cost of purchasing alcohol, but in our view, it doesn’t go far enough. (Source: Medical News Today, 4/24/09) Comment: Just ridiculous.
